During May 2009 a range community engagement activities will be conducted to capture Coburg’s Sense of Place and to provide the Coburg Initiative team with a better understanding of what makes the area unique. Importantly, the Coburg Initiative team want to gain an understanding of the important elements that contribute to Coburg’s Sense of Place today and what would enhance it into the future.
Sense of Place can be many things, but at its simplest it is the connection people have with a place. It is why people stay in an area and why they feel part of it. Sense of Place will change for people over time and not everyone’s Sense of Place is the same. This Discussion Forum asks you to consider Coburg’s Sense of Place by responding to a range of questions and by engaging with other stakeholders and community members in discussion.
This Discussion Forum will conclude at 5pm on the 29th of May.
