The challenge of the Coburg Initiative has been taken on by many Coburg residents and businesses. Our community meetings and consultations had been well attended and a great deal of online comment and written feedback has also been received. In order to properly consider all ideas raised we have had to do more homework before we go to the next round of consultation.

In addition Council is undertaking a study tour to look at new management arrangements overseas.

The Community Information Day planned for the 3rd of October and the Online Community Forum from September 21st to October 16th have therefore been postponed.

We anticipate going back to consultation with the updated concept plan in late 2009 or early 2010.
